The Foundation was established in 2015, in the wake of a number of non-profit cultural operations implemented by the Peruzzo Group from 2011 onwards. A major operation that marked the start of a profound interest in our historical and artistic heritage was the restoration of the Venice Pavilion at the Gardens of the Biennale, carried out in partnership with Louis Vuitton.

Out of that renovation of a site that was both physical and symbolic, the commitment to creating what would later become the Alberto Peruzzo Foundation was gradually reinforced, taking in everything from the protection and safeguarding of the historical heritage (Venice Pavilion, church of Sant’Agnese in Padua) to the enhancement of emblems (the Most Serene Republic of Venice, with the support of the America’s Cup), as well as the promotion of contemporary artists (starting with Fabrizio Plessi). Dialogue with the local artistic heritage, with an eye to the future, is very much one of the stylistic markers of the Foundation.
